| King De Gargassan King's story began on a farm in near Bordeaux, France. He was sired by an all black straight Egyptian stallion, Ali Mabrouka (Ali Jameel). Ali Mabrouka was on his way from Texas to the Arab Emirates. He lay over in France where he was purchased by Marianne and Francis Arnaud. They bred him to their most precious mare NA Copla. NA Copla was the Polish bred daughter of Warendes Plakat (Plaket). These are two of the most renowned European Champions in recent history. For years, they dominated the European halter world. Brawna, the dam of NA Copla was also a champion halter mare. This golden cross produced King De Gargassan. Ann and Dan McGregor met King in France when he was a two-year old. His exotic head, huge eyes, compact athletic body and fluid movement captivated them. Within months, he was imported to Kuna, Idaho and joined the McGregors at Elevage De Boise. King has met and exceeded our expectations with two foal crops on the ground. His potency is recognized in their exquisite heads and smooth bodies. His first daughter took a blue ribbon in her first class at a Class "A" show as a yearling. This was accomplished against some good competition. She also took Reserve Champion at the same show. Beautiful babies with gentle, serene personalities is what King is siring. He is giving us exactly what we want to cultivate in the Arabian reining/working cow horse discipline.
